Recycled Asphalt
We accept broken asphalt from local residential and commercial construction projects. That asphalt is crushed and screened into finer aggregate products. The crushed asphalt products are black in color, do not create dust, and compact very well. 1 ¼” minus recycled asphalt is our most popular product used for gravel driveways and filling potholes.
Recycled Concrete
We accept broken concrete from local residential and commercial construction projects. That concrete is crushed and screened into a variety of aggregate sizes and used back on construction projects. Girard’s Covington and Snohomish locations are recognized as an approved manufacturer for Recycled Concrete Aggregate on Washington State Department of Transportation’s Qualified Products List(QPL). We produce 1 ¼” Minus Recycled Concrete, which meets the specification for WSDOT Crushed Surfacing Base Course and is commonly used for road base. 2” Recycled concrete is a clean product often used for parking areas or in wet/muddy conditions. 2”-4” Recycled Concrete is used as an alternative to quarry spalls and is often used for construction entrances or in wet, muddy conditions.
